Why won’t they pay for more shuttles? It must be their principles of never giving in on anything, because it’s not the money. That’s chump change for Amazon.
It would be a process to get more drivers and shuttles going, but it’s not something they haven’t asked for already. The reality is that companies don’t want to give an inch to unionized sites and will often spend more elsewhere just to make people think that unionizing is detrimental.
Starbucks did this constantly for several years but they were stupid and gave universal benefits to all non-union stores instead of picking and choosing spots, so the NLRB kept dinging them and it backfired.
