The Ultimate 2024 Elections Guide: Part 3
Collecting the local journalism, progressive endorsements, and how to vote guides for every state
Welcome to a Friday edition of Progress Report.
This is the third and final part of our first-ever omnibus voter guide and endorsement list. It’s a one-stop shop for voters in need of unbiased information about their state and local elections, as well as guidance from organizations that share their values and interests.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve combed through local newspapers, examined the websites of progressive organizations and issue groups, and built this guide to most diverse, unvarnished, and useful information. This newsletter includes states from Oklahoma through Wyoming.
You can find Part One here and Part Two here. The entire thing is also in this Google Doc. I will likely be adding to both that doc and these posts in the final few days, too.
Note: This work takes a lot of time and effort and energy, and no matter happens this election, the work is only going to get more intensive and urgent. That means more projects, money spent on expanding what we cover and how we do it, and turning aside paid opportunities elsewhere.
To make this viable, it needs to be at least somewhat sustainable. Yet because everyone’s been milked by politicians and their vendors and consultants to pay for useless TV ads, I’ve lowered the price for a paid subscription back down to Substack’s $5 minimum — and through the weekend, I’m offering 25% off of that. Every subscription and donation helps!

Wait, Before You Leave!
Progress Report has raised over $7 million dollars for progressive candidates and causes, breaks national stories about corrupt politicians, and delivers incisive analysis, and goes deep into the grassroots.
None of the money we’ve raised for candidates and causes goes to producing this newsletter or all of the related projects we put out. In fact, it costs me money to do this. So, I need your help.
For just $5 a month, you can buy a premium subscription that includes:
Premium member-only newsletters with original reporting
Financing new projects and paying new reporters
Access to upcoming chats and live notes
You can also make a one-time donation to Progress Report’s GoFundMe campaign — doing so will earn you a shout-out in the next weekend edition of the newsletter!
