Keep up the great work!

I'm definitely recommending to 290+ friends & family (my politics mailing list) that they subscribe to this newsletter, by signing up for at least a free subscription at first, but if they have the means and want to help further, taking out a paid one when they're ready.

One tip for paid subscriber: if you forward a whole newsletter to others (instead of just the link), BE SURE to go through the body and DELETE every button that says "✓Subscribed". Clicking on that button takes the reader to YOUR subscriber-profile, which contains confidential info (password, credit card, etc.)

Thank you for the kind words and spreading the word about the newsletter!

I don’t think anybody can access your confidential subscriber info so long as they’re not signed into your account on Substack, even if they click through the email you forwarded to them. You might want to test it in an incognito window in your browser, or a totally different one where you’re not signed into Substack.

If that’s not the case and people are able to access your info, please let me know and I’ll alert the platform’s IT team immediately!

Thanks for the info.

I'll check it out when I get access to my wife's new laptop, which I think doesn't have any Substack accounts on it.

I especially appreciate your naming the American legislative exchange council.

ALEC.

What a living legacy of centuries of racist, slave labor.

Thank you.

I forgot to add my wish to start outing the big familiar brands leading ALEC over the years.

FedEx, State Farm insurance, UPS, Koch owned brands such as Dixie paper products and Georgia Pacific lumber (entirely Koch owned.)

Here is Common Cause spilling the tea....

Things are looking ever hopeful, Jordan. For another bit of a perk-up, TCinLA's "The Wind Has Changed " is one of Tom's better Substacks in a while. Cautously encouraging with Trump giving Johnson and McConal the green light to pass the aid package for Ukrain. Lucien Truscott laid down a rowser this afternoon too, illuminating the gasseousness of the trial. Keep up the great work.
